Middleborough Friends Answer
the Call to Clean Up Town Hall.

Selectwoman and Middleborough
Friend Mimi Duphily put out the call to the people of Middleborough
to help clean up the landscaping around Town Hall. With the
budget cuts of years past, the Town Hall landscape was lacking the
attention a build like her deserved.
On Saturday, September 13, the
Middleborough Friends showed their community spirit and armed with
rakes, shovels, power tools and sweat, cleaned up town hall.
Mums were donated from various
businesses around town and planted by members of Middleborough
Friends. Town Manager, Charlie Cristello had mulch delivered to
give the grand girl a fresh look for fall.

July 4th, North Middleborough
Parade (2008).

Middleborough Friends showed their community spirit with a float in
the North Middleborough 4th of July Parade. The theme for the
float was respecting the past and embracing our future - the
farming community that is Middleborough.
It is the goal of the Friends to
make sure the community spirit of Middleborough always has a smile.
From the live chickens to our living scarecrow (Wayne Perkins)
people along the route always were smile. The candy didn't
hurt any either.

Willy Duphily, shows everyone all smiles just after the rain ended.
