Middleborough Friends Events
November 1, 2008 - Halloween Ball
at the Haunted Town Hall

The adult public is invited to attend
the first annual Halloween Ball to be held at the Haunted and
Historic Town Hall in Middleborough. The hauntingly hair
raising event is expected to be a
ghoulishly good time. We cannot promise appearances by any
ghosts but recent photos have shown possible paranormal activity in
the ballroom.
The Ball will be held from 8 PM to
Midnight and a limited number of tickets will be available.
Prizes will be awarded in various categories and costumes are a
must.
The Ball will aid in the creation
of a scholarship in the name of Victor Sylvia. Vic was a true
Middleborough Friend who cared deeply for the community and it will
be an honor to remember him in this way.
Tickets are $20 per person with
advance tickets discounted $5. We kept the night
affordable so that people can come out and have fun and support
their community. Entertainment and refreshments will
be provided. A cash bar for beverages will be available. A tarot
specialist
will be on hand but don't read too much into it.

Tickets are available at Willy's
Auto Parts in Middleboro and from any Middleborough Friend.
November 29, 2008 - Holiday Craft
Fair at the Town Hall
The first annual Middleborough
Friends Holiday Craft Fair and more will be held the same day as the
Christmas parade in Middleborough. Crafters from the area will
be on hand to provide wonderful gift opportunities at a reasonable
price.
Holiday music by local choirs on
the auditorium stage throughout the day will warm the soul after the
brisk parade.
Refreshments will be available and
hopefully a visit from Santa himself for local pictures without the
trip to the mall.
Vendors are encouraged to contact
the Middleborough Friends for more information.
Monies raised from the event will
benefit a scholarship in the name of Vic Sylvia.
